FROM THE LAND ROSE THE INGREDIENTS

FROM THE LORE ROSE THE KNOWLEDGE

Land & Lore Story

Land & Lore founder, Mark Hasebroock, saw other guys like him in the skincare aisle at the big box store. Most of them stood squinting at the hundreds of choices on the shelf. Some grabbed the cheapest option and kept moving. Others would give up when faced with the too-complicated world of men’s skincare.

“I was frustrated, confused and sometimes intimidated,” Mark said. “I was just looking for something clean, natural and simple.” He quit searching. Instead, he made the skincare line he’d been looking for.

Land & Lore, based in Omaha, Nebraska is straightforward and effective. And simple. The line launches with six products made with ingredients derived from the land paired with the power of modern technology.

We worked with a team of chemists to develop the product, which is free of common toxic ingredients, such as aluminum, mineral oil, parabens, polyethylene glycol, diethanolamine, monoethanolamine, triethanolamine, phthalates, siloxanes, sodium laurel sulfate, triclosan and synthetic fragrances, among others we didn’t use.

SKINCARE

10,000 Years in the Making

Our ingredients have been trusted since ancient times, and science continues to unlock new ways of using them, increasing their efficacy, and ultimately improving your skin. It's science in service of nature – science that nurtures – just how it should be. Our simple skincare products are made with natural ingredients rooted in ancient history. The lore -- the story behind each of those ingredients -- makes our customers wiser than they look.

For Every Product Sold, We Plant A Tree

Yes, you read that right. We’ve partnered with the Arbor Day Foundation to plant a tree for every product you buy. Every single one.

Why? Land & Lore products are rooted in the wisdom gained by mankind over thousands of years. Most of our ingredients are just as ancient. The way we see it, if we’re using resources that are 10,000 years old, we owe it to the Earth to try and make sure these resources are still around 10,000 years from now.

It’s why our logo is inspired by the mighty pinecone—a small but powerful plant that spreads seeds to restore forests and sustain life around it. As long as our company is around, we’ll continue planting seeds across the land so the earth can sustain.

We feel so grateful for the chance to use our platform to plant trees, so we thought we’d pass that feeling along to you each time you buy a Land & Lore product.
