Starting a Skincare Routine

Skincare for men is hard. We aren't taught such things as young boys and chances are, you've been using whatever you find at the end of the grocery store aisle. It's tough to admit, but dryness, flakes, oil spots and acne, are all signs that it's time to try something new on your face.

Fortunately you don't need to go to a doctor or study dermatology your whole life to find the secret to good skin. We'll cover each facial product in our complete skincare kit and why each are so important.

1. Cleanser

Cleansing is necessary for removing any skincare products you've used during the day, as well as natural skin oils, pollutants, and bacteria that have accumulated. You should cleanse your face once (at night) or twice a day using a facial cleanser (morning and night).

2. Hyaluronic Acid

It has been proven by several studies that Hyaluronic acid helps the skin maintain moisture and helps with the tissue regeneration process involved in healing wounds. Along with deep hydration, this serum plumps and rejuvenates your skin to give a youthful radiance. For added hydration, apply this serum to your face after cleansing.

3. Moisturizer

The most basic function of a moisturizer is to keep your skin hydrated while softening it. Moisturizers, in general, aid in the prevention of water loss through the skin's outer layers. After cleansing, massage a pea-sized amount of moisturizer all over your face and neck in upward-circular motion.

4. Dry Oil

Dry oils get their name because they immediately get absorbed by the skin. The dry oil stimulates collagen production by maintaining the moisture barrier of the skin. You can use it after your moisturizer for added hydration and free-radical protection.

5. Eye Cream

Because the skin around your eyes is thinner and the first to exhibit symptoms of age, eye cream is quite useful. A good eye cream can greatly help in getting rid of several issues around the eye area like eye bags, puffiness, dark circles, wrinkles, crow’s feet, etc. Take a small amount of eye cream on your ring finger and dab it around the eye area after moisturizer.
